Regional Sales Manager
London + remote working
£50-80,000 depending on skills and experience
Our digital solutions client is seeking a field sales and business development professional that will combine sales and account management to join their area software sales team to support the challenging and competitive demand for offshore structure design and engineering software in the UK-BeNeLux market.
As a team member, this position would be responsible for selling SESAM (offshore structure design and engineering) and BLADED (wind turbine loads simulation) software solutions and training services into the offshore renewable energy, O&G and maritime engineering markets.
The Regional Sales Manager contributes to the goals for order intake, revenues, profitability, and market penetration throughout the UK-BeNeLux:
Promote and sell the company's software and services
Understand the needs of industry, our customers, and how our software and services map to them.
Contribute to continual improvement in our customers' buying experience.
Nurture established business relationships with customers and partners.
Lead or support innovations or improvements to software and service delivery.
Achieve consistent results against sales targets.
Support marketing campaigns and software/service delivery experience.
Participate in global sales gatherings and other professional development opportunities.
Professionally manage the sales process in accordance with company systems and policies:
Forecasting sales and building pipeline
Record all activity in our CRM tool Salesforce.
Network of sales and products teams to collaborate on global opportunities and intelligence sharing.
We need the successful candidate to have:
Background in either:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Offshore engineering or equivalent.
Professional experience of sales and account management, preferably in software licensing sales.
Professional experience and general understanding of offshore renewable, O&G, and maritime engineering industries and software solutions.
Demonstrate strong skills in:
Communication, particularly listening skills with both colleagues as well as customers.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Interpersonal skills to create and maintain profitable relationships with customers.
Negotiation and closing in a win-win long term focused environment.
Willingness to travel within the region and internationally.Our client can offer –
