A global powerhouse within the social media industry are looking for a Logistics & Shipping Business Analyst to join their team on an initial 12 month contract – The role will be onboarded remotely before eventually joining the team in London.

Job Responsibilities

Drive and build process for data gathering, validation and documentation
Lead reporting and insight communication across functions and teams
Support Service Operations lead on tactical activities in Oracle
Support Continues Improvements projects from data and insights point of view
Review and approve invoices, cost proposals and contract supplements
Monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets and targets
Support to drive day to day operations
Support fulfilment and transportation activitiesSkills

Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills
Problem solving / Strong adaptability skills
Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
Strong ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed
Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
Strong ability to apply mathematical principles to work as needed
Experience using Oracle software for PO creation, inventory adjustments, SO fulfilment (ERP/MRP/WMS) is a huge plus
Strong ability to analyse business trends and projections
Ability to create business status reports from multiple data inputs
Strong ability to analyse business trends and experience developing reporting/tools
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus
3+ years' service operations operation or manufacturing
Experience developing, implementing process, KPIs, business cases, and project plansBonus Skills

Logistics and shipping documentation background
Proficient in Tableau
Proficient in PowerBI
Oracle Web
Service shop floor and claims managementEducation/Experience

Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.
Degree is not a "must have" if candidate has 3+ years as operations analyst and/or data analystDisqualifiers

Never worked in operations
No interest or desire to be hands on – Role WILL require data entry
No interest in details, data accuracy, data crunching, work to a deadline. Role WILL require detail and target driven activities
