International Freight Forwarding Logistics Coach Tutor
£28k- £32k – Permanent Full Time, plus expenses, mileage, laptop, 25 days holiday, overnight stays paid
Homebased – to cover Humber / Yorkshire – surrounding areas to start with some workshops as well as 1-2-1’s / remote working
Interviewing for December start
An opportunity to join a fast-developing experienced National training provider to support the teaching/assessing of the International Freight Forwarding Level 3 certificate in the workplace. Ideally with ITOL or Logistics/freight forwarding qualifications and some significant occupational experience, visiting apprentices in the workplace, providing training and supporting mainly Levels 2/3 with in 1-2-1’s and workshop.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the coaching and development of IFF apprentices through the Apprenticeship Standards and delivering Level 3 qualifications. Job roles within International Trade and Logistics require a thorough level of technical competence and knowledge, which will be undertaken through work-based training, practice and experience. You will work alongside the employer to develop the plan for how and when the on-programme and end-point assessments will be delivered, and teach the apprentices’ to ensure they progress towards this.
Key responsibilities and objectives;
Achieving minimum 88% end-point assessment, leading to a minimum 88% success rate on the Apprenticeship Standard Hold assessing and teaching / training qualifications or similar, holding an IQA qualification would be advantageous: ie A1; V1; PGCE; CTLLS; DTLLS; CAVA; AQA
You will be responsible for creating the full curriculum and designing the programmes, therefore an experienced Trainer Assessor in this area is essential – support given with regards to resources etc
Ability to establish positive working relationships with clients
Able to facilitate the enhancement of work performance, self-directed learning and personal development
Prepare, agree and review apprenticeship learning plans
Training & Development, On-going internal training, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Equal Opportunities & Diversity, External training as requested, You will need to be highly motivated, persuasive, persistent and patient and have a proven track record in the in developing learner progression through a series of learning stages
