Freight Administrator / Controller
Based – Acton, West London W3
Mon – Fri 9am – 5.30pm
It literate (Excel essential)
Knowledge of Freight company invoicing preferred
The business requires a Freight Administrator/Controller, responsible for reconciling and controlling the freight supplier accounts in an efficient and timely manner. This opportunity requires an individual with a high attention to detail who enjoys reconciling, identifying and resolving differences. This job is based in West London and reports to the Financial controller.
Review all Import & Export DHL and DPD invoices received in CSV and PDF Format (CSV File data manipulation to sort and categorise regions, weight, charge amount, vat, fuel surcharge or any other relevant elements per shipment)
Cross checking charge amount to reflect DHL and DPD Rate Card and ensuring any Duty Charges are not included and are absorbed by the receiver (Buyer)
Investigating any unfamiliar or irregular weights, and or activity.
Reconciling total charge amount per region with Invoices, and highlighting any discrepancies
To check all credit transit fees and successful claims for lost/missing/damaged items have been credited or reimbursed accordingly to the company.
To prepare information, where required, to process claims under the company's goods in transit insurance policy for lost/missing/damaged items
To be the point of contact for the company and the DHL and DPD Invoice departments to resolve various invoicing issues and discrepancies.
To submit reports for payment processing in a timely and accurate manner. Key requirements:

Knowledge of freight company invoicing would be beneficial
