Vessel Operator

HSB Technical, have a new position for a Ship / Vessel Operator, working with one of the worlds' largest and well established shipping businesses 

You will be joining their international RORO division in a close knit and very inclusive team, covering trade routes around Europe,

The position will entail all Commercial ship operations activities, and essentially ensuring a safe, efficient, and timely delivery of all vessels and cargo. 

You will be communicating regularly with all internal teams, including: Vessel Masters, Commercial Managers, and respective Port Agents

Full training will be provided on the job, and the business enjoy flexible / remote working, you will in the office around 3 days per week

Position is Monday to Friday – but there will be some possible out of hours on-call as per vessel requirements

Ideal candidate:

– Open to any suitable background in ship / vessel commercial operations, or port agency 

– Any experience with Container ships, RORO / Car Carrier, or Bulk cargoes will be considered

– Someone very organised, and comfortable dealing with multiple tasks at once

– Able to think on your feet

– An excellent communicator

– Personable and professional individual
