Our client is seeking a Shipping Administrator who will be part of a team within the department responsible for direct interaction with internal and external customers. You will have proactive customer service and problem solving skills and you will be responsible for customer follow up, interaction with colleagues in all departments and ensure that the department has all of the necessary information (including systematic information) to be able to execute shipments. You will be a good team player and able to work on own initiative with problem solving skills and good interpersonal skills, flexibility and you will be adaptable with good time management skills and the ability to learn. You will have good PC skills including Word and Excel and you will have good customer service skills and be able to multi task. You will have strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise you workload.
To Code Accounts Payable invoices related to shipping.
To arrange/submit Clearance of all imports from EU/WW
To file all Customs Declarations from Couriers EU & WW export dispatches on the internal system.
To raise and submit EU / WW export freight quotations when required via Air / Road / Sea
To Track and update Sales Coordinator on courier shipment discrepancies for Export & Imports
To Chase all EU & WW COS / Customs Documents for Import & Export
To prepare and process all aspects of export documentation from dispatch to shipping of the goods
