A little bit about the Company
The business is a highly successful, small, independent business with their head office based in Dartford, Kent. Their offices are well-appointed and the team are friendly, relaxed and work together in true team spirit.
This is a NEW ROLE, a Logistics Co-ordinator, to join their team.
What will you be doing?
* You will be the main contact for all logistics enquiries, working closely wit their sites and haulage providers
* Escalation point for day-to-day issues including failed collections, booking queries and ad-hoc requests
* Maintain an accurate log using Excel
* Responsible for all customs documentation
* Export process – raising required documents for all exports out of the UK
What do you need to be successful?
As their Logistics Co-ordinator, the perfect candidate will:
* Have a driving licence (later on you may be expected to make site visits)
* Super organised with high attention to detail
* Have the ability to liaise at all levels and build relationships with clients and suppliers
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word/Excel/Outlook
* Great sense of humour
* Hungry to succeed and add value
* Live within a reasonable commutable distance to Dartford
