Job Summary

Our client based in Woking are seeking a Shipping & Logistic Administrator to arrange the transportation of goods from supplier to the end customer. You will visit ports and agents where necessary.

Job Description

* Arranging/chasing deliveries of materials

* Identify and react to any issues that may arise

* Assist shipping manager with the chartering of vessels

* Participate in negotiations for best freight, discharge, and handling costs

* Review and process relevant supplier invoices

* Prepare and send relevant paperwork to customs agent to facilitate customs clearance.

Skills and Knowledge Required

* Reasonable level of English and Maths

* Good communication skills both written and verbal

* Computer literate

* Experience of SAP preferred
