Shipping and Sales Administrator

Sayjo Recruitment are acting on behalf of a well-established Client, based in Huddersfield HD8

Our client is looking to recruit a full time Internal Sales Support person with Shipping experience.

The role – probably 30% Shipping (mostly export) / 70% Sales Support

• Answering and transferring telephone calls to the appropriate person/department

• Monitoring and delegating general emails

• Assisting our accounts department with purchase invoices

• Completion of export & import paperwork including letters of credit and freight security KEY

• Daily despatch of customer orders

• Liaising with customers regarding orders and customer complaints

• Producing quotes for customers when required.

• Sales order processing

• Problem solving with suppliers as and when appropriate.

• Completion of projects for directors including working with Microsoft programmes.

Person Specification

A good team player, friendly, willing to help out within a small team, share knowledge and training, take an interest in others roles to help with cover when needed.

Excellent customer service skills, ability to build rapport with customers and support them through the sales process.

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, able to liaise with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders professionally.

Good computer skills required

Knowledge of shipping documentation, post Brexit.
