EXTEND YOUR POTENTIAL WITH A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS

We are looking for a Senior Offshore Wind Structural Engineer to join our team, giving you the opportunity to co-create on some of the most prestigious green infrastructure programmes in the UK.
On a day-to-day basis, you'll be responsible for:

* Assisting in the development of steel structures for offshore wind from feasibility stage through detailed design, including construction support

* Providing technical support and leadership to projects

* Developing design methodologies and contributing to knowledge sharing

* Development of conceptual design and producing engineering designs and details in accordance with project requirements

* Checking of design calculations and drawings done by other engineers

* Visits to site as required by the project

* Writing technical progress reports

* Preparation of high-quality calculations, written reports and checking of drawings

* Contribution to COWI's technical development in competence groups

* Mentoring and developing less experienced team members to allow them to achieve their full potential

Furthermore, you'll have:

* You hold a M.Sc. or MEng in structural engineering and ideally be a Chartered Engineer or nearing Chartered status

* You have demonstrable experience with steel design for offshore wind

* You have experience with structural dynamics, numerical analysis and load assessments

* You have international working experience

* You have great communication skills in English (oral and written)

* You can maintain an overview in a complex environment

* You can integrate with people in combination with high level of knowledge

* You can work across disciplines and handle cultural differences

* You thrive in a busy and growing environment
