As a Senior Claims Adjuster your main responsibilities include:

To achieve prompt, accurate and consistent adjustment and reserving of claims liabilities
Promptly agree valid claims for payment
Adjust quantum of covered claims
Negotiate and resolve disputed claims
Ensure accurate reserves are recorded
Liaise with Co-insurers as required
Manage relationships with internal and external Lawyers and AdjustersTo be a successful Senior Claims Adjuster you will demonstrate:

Good experience within a technical Marine Claims environment
Sound understanding of the Law and practice relating to claims adjusting
First class communication and interpersonal skills
Experienced and successful claims settlement negotiations
Excellent analytical and decision making abilities
