Sales Engineer required. Our client is a well-established and growing Marine Engineering business based in Newton Abbott, Devon. Due to ongoing success they are seeking a Sales Engineer to join their technical sales team, responsible for supporting existing customers whilst seeking new business opportunities.

Sales Engineer – Marine Industry Position Overview

Working from the company facility in Newton Abbott, Devon, supporting and providing technical support to existing customers both in the UK and overseas
Researching new business opportunities
Creating sales pipeline forecasts
Working towards sales targets and objectives
Liaising with the engineering and dispatch departments on customer orders.

Sales Engineer – Marine Industry Position Requirements

Degree qualification in Engineering, or a solid background within the marine engineering industry
Previous experience within a customer facing of sales orientated role
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Willingness to travel to customer sites occasionally
Based in a commutable distance of Newton Abbott, Devon
Proficient with Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook and Excel.
Full UK Driving License

Sales Engineer – Marine Industry Position Remuneration

Salary £25,000 – £34,000 depending on experience
Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00, full-time, permanent position
25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
