As Retail Area Sales Manager you will be required to seek out new business opportunities for retail forecourts requiring a branded fuel supply. Negotiating contractual terms and managing the contractual process from end to end – involving putting completed contracts in place -, you will agree and adhere to branding parameters, account set-up, line of credit and fuelcard acceptance.
Managing a portfolio of retail forecourts within the specified territory, dealing with individual customer queries on aspects of the ongoing business relationship, such as on payments, deliveries, etc., you will renew current contracts within this portfolio in a timely manner. Developing and managing relationships with potential, new and existing customers in order to maintain and grow the firm’s branded retail network in Ireland, you will monitor the competition in order to ensure that the retail offer competes effectively, whilst seeking opportunities to differentiate our position in the marketplace for competitive advantage.
Evidencing substantial experience (5 years+) in sales and negotiation, preferably in the fuel/convenience store or grocery retail business arena and in a branded environment, you will have a solid background in account management or area sales management.
Self-motivated to seek out new business opportunities with the ability to present to groups of people both internally and externally, you will be confident in working in both isolation and within a competitive sales team. You will exhibit excellent numeracy and analytical skills along with advanced skills in Microsoft Office and an understanding and exposure to HSE
