Recruitment Pipeline Management Specialist

HGMS is a recruitment and employment agency specialising in the driving and logistics sector. As a managed services supplier we work closely with our client to fully manage and supplying their temporary driver requirements.

We are looking for an experienced recruiter ideally within the logistics sector, to support our recruitment strategy in managing our new driver training program. Predominately this role will be based in our offices in Southampton for the purposes of sourcing and screening of candidates and you would then be expected to arrange to meet all candidates for face to face interviews before they start, the interviews would take place within our client’s branches.

The key elements of the position are:

·Advertise all vacancies and source applicants using a range of media

·Utilising social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships

·Complete telephone pre-screens with suitable applicants

·As and when required conduct face to face interviews fully briefing them on the opportunities

·Ensuring our full compliance process is executed during the interview process

·Maintain regular communication with all applicants prior to start date

-Mentor the trainee drivers through the pipeline process from on boarding and commencing as a van driver through to becoming a category C HGV driver with Lorry Loader over a 6–9 month period


We are offering a salary of £25-30k plus an uncapped performance-related commission scheme which could equate to an additional 10%-15% of your salary, plus benefits and mileage for travel when visiting branches for interviews.

Working hours

The working day usually covers the core hours of 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, some flexibility required for the days you may be out interviewing to start slightly earlier and or finish later to meet our resourcing plans.
