Project Manager – Marine

Copello have partnered with a marine technology business in the recruitment of a Commercial Project Manager to join their growing team in Poole. This role will manage global, large scale projects and will direct and manage the preparation of deliverables within specific contract terms.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing and co-ordinating large-scale projects, full lifecycle
• Managing new and existing contracts, adhering to contractual obligations, focusing on compliance and profitiability
• Leading project teams (incl. sub-contractors) and delivering in accordance with business procedures, in particular the Delivery to Customer Gate Model
• Creating work breakdown structures, project and resource plans, risk identification and mitigation plans
• Supporting installation and commissioning of projects at client sites
• Delivering regular variance reports to management/project stakeholders

To be considered for the role you will:

– Have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
– Hold a recognised PM qualification such as PMP or Prince 2
– Gave experience within the Marine/Defence industry delivering technical engineering solutions
– Be commercially astute
– Have excellent communication skills

This is a permanent, full time role with flexible and remote working opportunity. The projects are global, so there will be a small amount of international travel included. On offer is a base salary of up to £50K (DoE) plus benefits package.
