Pricing Specialist – Ocean Freight

The Pricing Specialist – Ocean Freight will report into the Ocean Pricing Manager. You will be responsible for accurate pricing for all ocean freight cargo.

Description

As the Pricing Specialist – Ocean Freight you will be responsible for:

Review, complete and process local pricing and quoting and assist in country wide pricing policies
Oversee spreadsheets, documents, databases, and system records
Provide basic analysis to ensure relevant data, pricing and quoting resources are prepared to generate customer proposals and feedback on issues, providing recommendations to resolve customer and internal requirements.
Complete RFQs and RFIs as part of the global tender process, whilst meeting compliance regulations.
Analyse and review operations, results, feedback, and related pricing information to determine trends, draw conclusion, interpret findings, and provide improved data to present results, proposals, and recommendations.
Interpret and apply departmental policies and procedures ensuring adherence to compliance, rules, and regulations.
Work closely with internal and external teams to establish quotation requirements and define effective pricing rates.Profile

The Pricing Specialist – Ocean Freight must have:

Pricing experience within a Freight company
Ocean Freight knowledge
Experience in developing and analysing information
Be competent with Microsoft Office
Be able to stand alone and drive your own success
Be a natural problem solver and logical thinker
Have a good working knowledge of MS Office
Be able to travel to the Hounslow offices at least once a weekJob Offer

Salary ranging between £35 000 – £42 000
