My client who is a leading global manufacturer of equipment and provider of maintenance/installation services for the oil and gas industry have a key requirement for a planner to work at their site in Dalry, Scotland.
The main purpose of the Planner role is to act as a focal point for an equipment inspection contract. The role will involve planning inspection and maintenance activities, as well as remedial works, in addition to arranging permits-to-work, work packs and access to equipment at height.
The role will be based at a client site in Ayrshire.
To be responsible for the planning of hazardous area E&I equipment inspections.
To manage and schedule remedial works within the designated timeframes.
To assist and comply with permit to work and isolation systems.
Preparation of work packs with the relevant technical information to enable technicians to complete their inspection and remedial activities.
Co-ordination with operations personnel for planned and corrective maintenance of electrical and instrument equipment.
Provide written and oral documentation of job status.
Ensure the quality management system and design procedures are followed and standards are maintained.
Maintain and promote a professional and harmonious relationship with the customers’ representatives.
The ability to complete client work orders and time sheets correctly and to the satisfaction of my client and the end user.
Detailed completion of project close out reports, documentation and certification (signed, dated and identified correctly for
invoicing and for inclusion within certification books). Timely submission to the supervisor or engineer.
