Our offshore Energy services client, with global operations, is now actively seeking career orientated individuals to join their Pipelines Group, working on Installation procedures through to offshore operations.

Key aspects of the role
Follow project scope from early engagement with our internal and external clients through to offshore execution on board our reel lay assets
Produce installation method statements and procedures, support procurement activities and subcontract follow up, proactively support HSEQ activities and prepare and deliver technical presentations
Installation rigging calculations and rigging design
Assist Tendering department with feasibility studies, method statements, manhour estimates, schedule inputs and costing support
Supporting installation aid procurement, fabrication and testing follow up
Follow your scope offshore on our installation vessels
Your experience and qualifications
You will be degree qualified in Engineering/Marine/Naval/Offshore Technology / Civil / Mechanical or equivalent
You will have minimum of 2 years experience as a project engineer in a subsea engineering field
Ideally you will have offshore pipeline installation experience, particularly in the reel lay discipline (i.e. Reel Lay, J-Lay, S-Lay)
Ideally you will have previous offshore worksite experience will be beneficial
Collaborative team worker able to work autonomously and take ownership.
You should be a strong communicator, able to speak with all levels within the business, who is comfortable working on their own and as part of a team
You will have excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work, as well as the ability prioritise and organise your work accordingly to meet deadlines set by management
You will be highly motivated and be able to show a demonstrable commitment to HSE and Quality
You should have a commitment to Continuing Professional Development
This role may involve short spells of overseas travel so candidates may need to show a willingness and flexibility
