To provide and maintain a safe, efficient, and cost-effective materials & logistics service on board the drilling unit
Ensure all rig-site inventories are up-to-date and accurate
Ensure that the co-ordination of marine and aviation activity is safe, efficient, and cost effective in line with well operations.
Perform all duties in accordance with Client's Operating Standards & Procedures.
Focal point for all Client offshore marine & aviation matters on the installation, providing support & guidance where applicable.
Compile and issue Material Request Forms in compliance with Client Guidelines ensuring all materials detailed on the Client Master Equipment list for the well are called off in a timely manner.
Check all cargo received on the drilling unit against the manifest / third party documentation, identify and report any deficiencies to both the Offshore Drilling Supervisor and the Logistics Superintendent.
Prepare and issue manifests for all marine & aviation cargo complete with all required supporting DG / SEPA / Waste documentation and detailed consignment notes clearly identifying “High-Cost Rentals” and equipment ready for export in compliance with regulatory requirements and Company guidelines.
Prepare & distribute the Daily Operations & Logistics look-aheads in conjunction with the Offshore Drilling Supervisor.
Liaise with Client’s Shore Base team with regards to load outs and back loading of materials.
Liaise with Aviation Co-ordinator and Service Providers to compile timely and accurate Flight Lists which will be produced by the Aviation Co-ordinator.
Maintain and regularly communicate auditable and accurate inventories for all Client rental and non rental equipment on the installation.
Issue detailed cost sheet to the Onshore DMC.
Ensure compliance with all Client and legislative requirements for marine & aviation cargo related activities. Adhere to Waste Management and segregation, IMDG / IATA, SEPA & COSHH regulations.
Participate in deck management issues for both the installation and vessel in conjunction with the Crane Operators, Barge Masters, Deck Foreman, Client Base and the Vessel Master.
Liaise with the Client Base with regard to vessel movements to / from the installation and within 500-meter zone and surrounding area and any issues must be reported immediately to Logistics Superintendent.
Participate in vessel planning / scheduling clearly identifying requirements for prolonged rig side support, backload requirements and bulk returns to minimise vessel NPT and greenhouse gas emissions.
Minimise the round tripping of cargo on vessels.
Liaise with Drilling Contractor with regards to Fuel, Water, Food and other requirements.
Manage POB lists, where appropriate.
Maintain and update all Client registers & documentation.
Attend participate and contribute to Weekly Safety Meetings.
Participate in the Client Operations and the Daily Logistics Call as per the Client call structure.
Liaise with the Client HSE Advisor to ensure complete compliance with Industry Standards.
Support the Client Drilling Supervisor and maintain safe operations
Timely and accurate reporting
Good ability with all MS Office applications
