My client, a leading global freight forwarder, is looking to recruit an Ocean Freight Clerk for its site in Basildon.

Role: Ocean Freight Clerk – Import or Export

Location: Basildon, Essex

Salary: Negotiable dependent upon experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am – 5.30 pm

Industry: Freight Forwarding/Shipping/Ocean freight

We are looking for an experienced forwarder, preferably export experience but happy to consider people with Import experience:

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Previous experience working within the ocean freight/shipping sector

Ocean Import or Export experience

Completion of jobs from start to finish

Customs Entries

Preparation of paperwork

Quotations

Liaising with customers and suppliers

Providing first class customer service at all times
