Marine / Project Manager

WALCON MARINE LTD, established in 1963 are specialists in the design and construction of quality yacht harbours. They have to date installed in the region of 100,000 marina berths around the world. The company is now seeking a
MARINE/PROJECT MANAGER
Key Tasks:
* Supervise/programme site labour force
* Supervise marine piling works with company owned marine plant – Set up schedules for work deadlines
* Supervise subcontract piling/dredging/marine works
* Responsible for Health & Safety on all sites
* Ability to write Method Statements/RAMS/Lift Plans
* Agree monthly valuations /final accounts
* Knowledge of conditions of contract
* Check project schedules
Requirements:
* Ability to form relationships at all levels both internally and externally
* Set up schedules for work deadlines
* Consider proposals for scheme and ensure it is delivered on budget and in safe manner
* Marine piling/sheet piling experience would be advantageous
* An understanding of the marina leisure industry would be beneficial but not essential
* To travel nationally if required
