Excellent role on offer for a 'hands on' individual looking to work for a well-established, market leading company where you will be trained to take on technical, marine based surveys once fully trained.

Do you have any practical background and looking to train in the marine sector? Are you looking to use your knowledge of engineering in a highly technical role?

This well renowned company have established themselves as one of the leaders within their field. Specialising in a wide range of industries including Marine/Naval, they have grown form strength to strength and have recently secured a contract that will enable them to grow even further. Due to this growth they are actively looking to recruit a 'hands on' candidate who can train up as a Marine Engineer to support this.

In this role you will be required to carry out marine/naval surveys at a variety of locations. You will need to visually inspect fittings and provide daily reports to the customers. Along with providing technical expertise, you will carry out the installation and be involved with the assembly and testing in the workshop. You will be required to travel to ships, mostly based in the South of England.

The role would therefore suit any individual from a mechanical background that is looking to use their knowledge in a technically challenging role that will not be all workshop based.

Anyone practical who knows or is confident using tools on a professional or personal level will be considered.
