Our client is a world leader in the maintenance of diesel engines for marine craft and land based applications such as power stations and generator sets. They have been established for almost 100 years and have a very well-known name in the engineering sector.

Showing further growth, and with markets now opening up across the world, they are able to welcome Mechanical Service Engineers to join the business on a permanent basis.

What to expect:

Immediate start
Salary £35,000 – £45,000/annum DOERequirements for Mechanical Service Engineers:

Experienced in working with Diesel Marine Engines and Industrial Diesel Generators
Offshore ticket preferred but if not willing to get a ticket, our client will fund this
Experience in Polar and/or Kelvin engines is preferred as these are the products you will be working on. Not essential but a solid understanding of the workings, strip down, and rebuild of Diesel power units would be requiredThe successful Mechanical Service Engineers will be based in a Glasgow workshop but must be willing to travel to sites in the UK and across the globe as required. Travel can last from a few days to 2-3 weeks.

Applicants must be time served or have suitable qualifications and have no less than 2 years of hands-on experience. You will also be over the age of 25 for insurance purposes.
