Marine Consent Manager

Several Marine consent managers are required for our national blue chip client energy organisation located in Aberdeen. Consent managers are needed to facilitate bulk renewable power transmission projects involving specialist marine environmental processes. Managers with knowledge of cable installation and recovery with an emphasis on protecting the marine habitat and its specific sensitivity.
Key Duties:
Identifying and securing statutory marine consents and sea-bed agreements for some of the largest marine transmission projects in the UK
Managing the MEA or EIA process to support consent applications, including management of the marine consents budget
Monitor and control compliance with these consents, developing strong working relationships with contractors, regulators and external stakeholders
Negotiate lease options and crossing agreements with other marine users and marine landowners, operating within agreed parameters and timescales to facilitate delivery and minimise project risk
Work with other stakeholders including fisheries and Nature conservation bodies
The roles, subject to experience and capability, will require periodic offshore work, supporting survey and installation activities, as such the candidate will be willing to obtaining an ENG1 medical and to attend suitable offshore survival training such as BOSIET
