The Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Team manages the transportation network for Amazon, ensuring that the customer orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. To meet this goal, ATS is continually striving to innovate and provide best in class experience through the introduction of pioneering new products and services in the middle mile space.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented and organized leader to join as the Manager of the Amazon Freight Partners (AFP) Business Development team, which owns the recruitment of new partners to help us build the next generation of transportation businesses. This person will develop the team and will own the recruitment process end-to-end.

We are seeking bar-raising candidates who are able to:

* Build the best in class recruitment process AFPs with data-driven pipeline management

* Partner with key stakeholders, such as Marketing, to drive the required leads through multiple sources

* Analyze, develop, and improve the recruitment process at all stages, from partner pitch calls to final interviews and debriefs

* Drive process improvements to enhance the AFP recruitment with regional specificities across UK/CEU

* Provide high quality reports to leaders on recruitment pipeline health (using Salesforce, Excel, Tableau, and/or other data platforms)

The ideal candidate is customer obsessed, highly organized, enjoys the challenge of developing and improving processes and the team. The successful candidate will also have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, superior attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Extensive working experience in sales, sales operations, business development, or account management within a cross-functional organization.

* Previous direct management and team leadership experience

* Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, and problem-solve.

* Demonstrated strong leadership skills when confronted with difficult situations exhibiting ability to keep the team focused and motivated.

* A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is required

* Fluency in English is required

* Team is spread across UK/DE/ES/LUX, travel expected

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Master's degree or MBA

* Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematics and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment.

* Track record of delivering sales or business development results, optimizing processes with sales operations / recruitment.

* Ability to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in setting and managing expectations.

* Knowledge and experience working with Salesforce

* Advanced Excel skills and experience working with Tableau

* Fluency in German, French, or other EU languages
