Key Account Manager - Marine

Our client is looking for a Key Account Manager to manage and develop sales of their specialist chemical products into the UK marine industry, with a focus on Yacht manufacturers

Key responsibilities:
To directly manage the marine market on a national basis. Ensuring high levels of service and support to key customers and generating profitable new business.
To create implement strategies to grow sales in the UK Yacht market  according to the aggressive growth business plan.
To help promote new product introductions in line with the corporate, region and local strategy. Carry out technical demonstrations where needed at end customer, intermediaries and distribution level. 
Maintain accurate records on (url removed). 
To ensure that the Company has an informed knowledge of both relevant Industry planning and activity within the reporting area.  To advise colleagues with planning and reporting and assist with all aspects of communication including (url removed), customer complaints follow-up, the writing of letters, specifications, quotations and trials etc
Position and drive sales of new technology to improve value generation and profitability We are looking for an individual with the following skills and experience:

Understanding of the Yacht manufacturing industry
Experience with chemical solutions such as Adhesives and Sealants
Awareness of financial data and how to interpret it
Knowledge of Composites
