The day-to-day responsibilities for the role:

This role will initially entail facilitating collections and deliveries whilst learning the fundamentals of Freight Forwarding as well as general administrative tasks relating to Freight Forwarding
The role will then progress to encompass Account Management and Sales in addition to Freight Forwarding
You will also be expected to provide quotations and look for opportunities to develop new and existing business
Skills and Qualifications for the role of Junior Freight Clerk:

The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in logistics and whilst some experience is preferred it is not essential
Computer literate 
Ability to communicate clearly 
Confident, ambitious and a willingness to learn
Drive and determination
A degree in any discipline is preferred however not essential
