Head of Engineering – Naval Architect

A leading superyacht tender manufacturer in Germany is looking for their next Head of Engineering.

I am looking for a Naval Architect with experience in small-craft design to lead the team and help push the company forward in developing new products and continuing to solve any engineering problems that might arise during their custom luxury superyacht tender builds, in the most innovative way possible.

After 27 years in the industry they have managed to build a great brand, started from scratch and now one of the top names. From what I have heard, their composite facilities are second to none. They do everything in-house, from the basic engineering to the delivery and aftersales.

You would be directly managing a team of 3 – 5 in the engineering department but also project managing and coordinating with all the other departments, that goes from client reps to the paint department.

You would also be representing the company at tradeshows such as Dusseldorf Boot, Monaco Yacht Show, etc..

This is only the first step, they’re hoping the Head of Engineering will turn into the Director of Operations and join the management board. It’s up to you!
