Graduate Revit Technician required for a manufacturer or piping and engineering pipe systems based in Romsey.
Graduate Revit Technician Position Overview
Responsible for the production of high quality and accurate drawings/models to support both our client and internal production teams.
Demonstrate a mechanical engineering aptitude and seeking to develop a career in building information modelling.
Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by the BIM Manager, Head of Manufacturing, and architects/designers & make modifications to existing supplied drawings.
Primary usage of Revit software to create designs in 2D and 3D models.
Usage of Navisworks for coordination & the distribution of models internally
Liaise with engineers, and designers to understand their design requirements and provide technical advice to manufacturing and construction technicians.
Provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings.
Maintain accurate drawing records.
Graduate Revit Technician Position Requirements
Autodesk AutoCAD and or Revit experience desirable but not essential
University degree or equivalent essential
MS software Knowledge (Office 365)
Computer literate and quick to pick up new systems
Excellent communication and people skills
Problem Solver
Attention to detail
Design focused software: 1 year (Required)
Graduate Revit Technician Position Remuneration
Your normal days and hours of work are Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 5.00pm. Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm. You will be entitled to a 50-minute unpaid lunch break to be taken at times to suit your current workload.
