Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
Hours: Mon – Fri – 8:30am – 17:00pm
Flexible working available
25 day holiday + BH

The Company:

A leading Freight Forwarding and International logistics company, are now looking for an experience global freight coordinator at their site in Southampton due to increasing work volumes from major customers and accounts.

You will be joining a rapidly expanding team of Freight Forwarders dealing with the entire life cycle of the freight forwarding process for key customer accounts via Sea, Air and European Road Freight.

The Role:
As our global freight coordinator, you will primarily deal with imports across Sea and air freight procedures, predominately dealing with rate quotations, invoicing and customs clearance. You will need to demonstrate a passion and desire to want to progress within the company and show you are able to handle more responsibility as the role progresses. Multi-tasking is a key aspect to this role. This is an end to end, fully operational role dealing with all aspects of the freight forwarding cycle.

Experience Requirements:
Imports or Exports experience
Rate Quotations for FCL & LCL Shipments
Liaising with overseas agents and hauliers
Invoicing upon delivery
Produce bills of ladding
Freight Forwarding Background (Min 2 years)
Sea Freight experience essential
Customs Clearance is highly desirable
