Freight Sales Representative

Bennett and Game are currently working with one of the UK's leading independent freight forwarders looking for a Freight Sales Representative to join their Southampton Office

Our client have been in the industry for over 35 years and specialise in global multi modal services and pride themselves in the delivery of various types of cargo internationally via air, road and sea.

Sales Representative Position Overview

In this position you will be responsible for the following:

Assisting the sales team with enquiries
Following up on new and existing customer quotes
Processing of multi modal quotes for the sales department
Creating tariffs for regular and new business accounts
Work to deadlines
Account maintenance
Ensure shipments are on schedule
Complete and source rate quotes for all new and existing customers daily
Actively look for new ways to increase margin as per company key focus areas.

Sales Representative Position Requirements

Experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics (Essential)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Good IT Knowledge
Customer Service

Sales Representative Position Remuneration

£25K + Per Annum
25 days Holiday + Banks
