Freight Sales Executive – £35k+ dep on experience + Benefits – St Helens

Our client, a well-established, forward thinking freight forwarding business is currently offering a fantastic opportunity to join a driven team and help develop business further. You will be bringing a fresh set of eyes to a very stable organisation and helping to increase capacity.

As a Freight Sales Executive you will be handling new business enquiries to build and develop accounts in line with the business objectives, you will have overall responsibility for the entire sales process, gathering leads, dealing with incoming enquiries, prospecting through negotiating and account management reporting directly to the Managing Director and being an integral part of the company's future.

Freight Sales Executive Duties:

* Development of new sales

* Responding to incoming enquires by email, telephone

* Identifying new sales opportunities

* Generation of quotes

* Follow up calls

* Visiting new and existing clients

* General Account Management

Skills /Experience required:

* A minimum of 3 years' experience selling freight with good overall knowledge of both the UK and global markets

* Multi modal experience – Air, Road and Sea

* Groupage experience

* A full understanding of Incoterms

* Strong negotiation skills

* Self-motivated and driven personality

* Strong IT and administration skills – Excel and Word

* Excellent organisational skills

* Ambitious and motivated

* Team player

* Clean Driving Licence
