Freight Sales Coordinator

Bennett and Game are currently working with an award winning International Freight Forwarder actively seeking a skilled and industry proven Internal Sales Coordinator / Freight Coordinator to join their Birmingham office.

Our client offer full multi-modal freight and storage solutions alongside full UK logistics and supply-chain operations. Due to continued growth they now require additional sales support to manage, maintain and develop new and existing working relationships.

Freight Sales Coordinator Position Overview

Within this internal sales role you will have excellent communication skills to manage internal and external customer requirements, demands and queries.

You will work with senior & external sales teams to manage, maintain and develop working partnerships and relationships with prospect clients and companies.

You will manage inbound calls and emails from prospect and existing customers providing quotes, pricing, and advise on general freight related customer care and service.

Freight Sales Coordinator Position Requirements

Proven knowledge of the Freight & Logistics industry – Essential
Excellent and clear communication skills
Strong IT and Microsoft knowledge
Experience providing quotes for freight & logistics movements
Ability to work out costs from partner tariffs
Be able to work out cubes / loading meters

Salary DOE – £27,000 – 32,000
Monday – Friday 9:00 – 17:30
4 weeks holiday + bank holidays
