Freight Forwarding Sales Executive – £25K – £31K (Remote Working)

Due to recent growth, a leading Freight Forwarder is looking for a highly driven, sales professional to join their team. The role will be totally remote and require the individual to grow the business by any means. This gives the right person a real opportunity to take control of their earnings and build their own desk, whilst developing their career and creating a portfolio of clients in the industry.

The successful candidate will have a background in freight forwarding though training can be provided, a sales background is highly advantageous and a proven track record would also make a big difference, even more so from a logistics background.

The Package

£25K – £31K + Commission
Company phone and laptop
Monday – Friday – 08:15 – 17:30
20 days holiday + bank holidays
Very competitive bonus scheme
Work from home!


Full Start to finish operation experience in either: Road, Air or Sea Freight. This can be Import or Export.
Key account experience, sales experience or a desire to get into sales.

The Role

The successful individual would be costing, quoting and operating their cargo with any suppliers they see fit.
Using enterprising skills however they think best, pursuing their preferred options to maximise their sales and thereby, generate profit.

Handling and growing portfolio of clients, handling both sales and operations
Negotiating freight rates and determining profits
Lead generation and client profiling
Networking with trade bodies, sales professionals and service providers
Training colleagues in operational procedures, advising best sources of services etc
Sharing knowledge of export, sea freight and rate procurement with colleagues
