Freight Forwarding Coordinator

Our client is based in the outskirts of Leicester who specialise in urgent UK & European deliveries by road and same day collections/deliveries throughout the UK and Europe, are looking for a Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join their busy forwarding department.

As the Freight Forwarding Coordinator, you will need experience of working with CHIEF, which would be an advantage and a high attention to detail and have previous experience in the freight industry

We are looking for a proactive, forward thinking team player with strong communication skills.

Freight Forwarding Coordinator responsibilities:

Quoting and processing customer bookings

Liaising and booking with sub-contractors

Assisting and International freight documentation

Answering phone calls

Maintaining and monitoring the forwarding job booking system
