Description

As a Freight Forwarder you will be reporting into the Freight Supervisor with easy access to the Branch Manager in Wigan, You will be carrying out the following tasks and responsibilities:

Completing the full end to end process in forwarding activities – ensuring a smooth operation
Solving problems using critical thinking skills
Excellent customer service, solving queries and providing reports back
Dealing with internal and external customers, providing solutions and expanding the network base
General admin in line with compliance
Assist in back-load managementProfile

The ideal Freight Forwarder will have the following skill set complimented by these attributes:

Previous experience within a Logistics environment
Experience dealing with European Freight
Desirably educated to a degree or equivalent level
Strong experience in Import/Export regulations and Customs
Positive and out-going attitude
Drive and Tenacity to succeed
The ability to commute to WiganJob Offer
