Our client is an independent Logistics Provider, offering freight forwarding, warehousing and haulage solutions on a bespoke basis for the UK Domestic Market and are now looking to increase their throughput into the European Market also.
We are now looking due to expansion and development for a Freight Account Manager/BDM to join the team selling and promoting domestic & European freight services in the South Yorkshire and surrounding areas with a base from home
Your role of a Freight Account Manager will involve costing and quoting for all modes of freight, handling all freight documentation and operating cargo with an open book supplier list, who will offer the best rates, service etc . Using your own freight and sales skills you will develop and maximise business and generate reasonable profits for the company.
My client is very supportive and dynamic business, supported by a strong network, a national presence and team that you will be joining. They do not believe in micro managing, you will the remit to bring on, manage and develop clients as you see fit. You can visit clients as and when, your day is managed by yourself and controlled by you.

Salary £25,000 to £45,000 – Dependent upon experience
