Field Services Coordinator – Maritime

Holt Executive is partnered with a critical, global connectivity and information technology provider, ensuring businesses stay connected wherever they require it. They are recruiting a Field Service Coordinator – Maritime to join the team in Houston, Texas or Harahan, Louisiana.

The primary focus of the role is to assign and coordinate our client's Maritime Field Service Engineers and Field Service Partners throughout the Americas and global field operations within the organisation.

Key responsibilities for the Field Services Coordinator – Maritime:

Allocate Maritime Field Engineers or Field Service Partners to installations, migration, fault correction, preventive maintenance, and other tasks.
Responsible for generating Logistics and Field Engineer requests.
Consult Global Field Engineer availability to find suitable time frames for repair visits.
Responsible for informing if the service visits are billable and under what commercial terms.
Take the lead in maintaining incidents until services are restored; Propose and coordinate remedial activities.
Be prepared and willing to respond as required in critical situations. Take part in 24/7 operations, including on-call duties.

Key requirements for this Field Services Coordinator – Maritime role:

Managerial, Administrative or Technical experience with IT support, coordination, and planning.
Demonstrable experience with technical resource allocation.
Resilient and able to work to tight timescales and critical business constraints.
Strong commitment to quality and adherence to practices, procedures, and scheduling deadlines.
Ability to adapt to changes in an environment of continuous improvement.
Cooperative attitude: a team player with the ability to develop and enhance strong relationships
