European Road Freight Forwarder

Road Freight Coordinator – £25k-£30k doe

An Expanding Freight Forwarder are looking for a Road Freight Coordinator for their St Albans Office.

The successful Road Freight Coordinator MUST have worked for a Freight Forwarder and will have working experience within European Road Freight with a good customer base they look after.

You will be joining a vibrant team and managing the start to finish process of your client's Road freight forwarding needs.

The Package

£25K – £30K basic- depending on experience
Monday to Friday 8am – 5:30pm
30 days holiday including banks.

The Road Freight Coordinator Role:

Looking after the Road freight requirements of the clients
Manage the day to day Start to finish Freight forwarding job of the clients.
Bringing clients on
Developing business of existing clients
Customs entries
Invoice jobs on completion
Extensive supplier liaison and negotiation
Raising job files and all of the appropriate paperwork
Process the jobs utilising the in-house software system

The Road Freight Coordinator Requirements:

MUST have Freight Operations experience.
Previous working experience in a sales/Operations or key account management role at a freight forwarder
Skilled at Freight quotations and rate negotiations
Must have experience in Road operations
An excellent communicator both written and verbally
Excellent IT skills
