Environmental Submarine Engineer
Your experience of submarines, engineering systems, leading tasks, and managing smaller projects while undertaking environmental engineering activities can add immediate value to this role and the consultancy. You will have the opportunity to work for a leading multi-national Defence systems provider which boasts some of the most advanced facilities in their areas of expertise.
Successful candidates will be SC cleared with a degree educated in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other related disciplines and will have worked as an Environmental Engineer/Manager, with some post-graduate experience.
About the Role:
As Environmental Submarine Engineer you will be responsible for:
Safety and Environmental Assurance to ISM Project Chief Engineer
The maintenance of the Environmental Case, inc. articulation of Environmental Impacts, management of legislative compliance
Production of relevant environmental case reports and associated documentation, and HAZIDs relating to environmental impacts
The management of hazardous materials (particularly asbestos) and the Inventory of Hazardous Materials produced for platforms and Navy Command
Wider tasking relating to environmental and safety management within the responsibility of the section

Salary: Up to £500 per day inside IR35
