EIA Consultant – Offshore Wind

My client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy who specialise in providing specialist knowledge across a range of sectors such as transport including aviation, government, clean energy, conventional and renewable energy, mining, general industry and oil and gas in the UK and internationally. This successful company who is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, is searching for an EIA Consultant specialising in Offshore Wind join their team in Glasgow.

The candidate will have the opportunity to join a reputable team who work on exciting projects.

Requirements:

Management skills particularly coordinating multi-disciplinary teams
A technical leader in EIA with experience of providing technical direction at a project level
Willingness to travel
A degree (or equivalent), in a relevant environmental discipline, with a strong emphasis on EIA and/or SEA
Membership of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) or other professional accreditation/ registration with a recognised body
Full UK Driving LicenceThis exciting EIA role will involve working within an experienced and dynamic organisation. The key responsibilities of the successful candidate will include.

Responsible for the project EIA budget and programme
Support wider project strategy discussions that define the future direction of the project
Continue to grow our offshore wind project portfolio
Develop, motivate, and mentor junior
