Designers (Marine)

Due to project growth and demands we have opportunities for Marine Designers; Structural, Mechanical & Electrical.

Candidates who have previous experience working in the marine defence sector will be of keen interest, particularly designers who have Structural design experience and could potentially "cross-over" disciplines to undertake structural design packages or Mechanical Designers who are able to undertake mechanical packages and therefore allow appropriate internal mechanical design SQEP to form that (structural) cross-over.

The bulk of the design work will be centred around submarine in-water engineering activity. Essentially product (hull blanks and cofferdams) design and manufacture. CAD packages are predominantly 3D inventor and 2D AutoCAD.

Although you will be supporting our client out of Rosyth, there will be occasions when some on site presence is required.

All candidates must be eligible for security clearance and if successful at interview, this will need to be gained ahead of a start date being agreed.

The contracts are 6 month rolling

37 hour standard week, OT can be worked at managers agreement

Inside IR35 – £40.34/h Umbrella co
