Compositing Pipeline Technical Director – £60,000 – £70,000 – London (Hybrid)

This client is an award-winning creative studio, who are looking for a Compositing Pipeline Technical Director to be responsible for the design, implementation and management of tools that assist artists with their daily use of third-party and in-house software and systems.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Nuke/ Foundry software
Experience of creating GUIs with PySide/PyQT
Proficient in Python libraries and frameworks used in VFX- (OpenEXR, ACEScg, OpenColorIO, image encoding, ffmpeg)
Previous experience building and maintaining pipeline software used in the core of a production environment.
Ability to communicate with both editorial and production teams clearly outlining and implementing processes.
Ability to work closely with digital artists and pipeline team to fulfil requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
Ability to prioritise and manage workload and meet project deadlines
A track record of problem solving
Experience of driving process changeNice to have:

Experience of modern programming practices
Knowledge of Universal Scene Description (USD)
C++
Nuke Developer Kit (NDK)
Experience using Maya, Houdini, Deadline
RV plug-in development
Knowledge of tracking applications
