Your new role
You will be Hub based, customer facing and primarily managing the Customer acceptance of the onshore and offshore project commissioning scope for our new Doggerbank Project.
The role encompasses all aspects of site project management and quality of execution relating to customer acceptance of the project commissioning scope. The role is responsible for attending, leading site meetings, delivering timely and accurate communications within the project commissioning teams. Co-ordination and delivery of technical queries and associated follow up support, Project manpower planning and availability, On time delivery of associated commissioning tasks / equipment, Quality updates / feedback and all associated reporting requirements, driving continual improvement feedback loops within the company's matrix
Roles and Responsibilities
Management of all Commissioning personnel requirements and operational performance activities related to testing and validation of instrumentation components & controls systems of the equipment in accordance with the design objectives / specifications for operational use.
Ensures flawless execution and seamless transition from Commissioning to O&M.
Solve tasks in areas of Commissioning operational management, manages internal and external cross functional resources to provide resolutions.
Management of teams EHS performance.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have commissioning experience and ideally electrical background. Experience in offshore wind industry is required, and a focus on power conversion systems.
Required Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience/knowledge.
Deep domain Commissioning experience, high level of experience in power electrical system.
Desired Characteristics
Experience in offshore wind industry with a focus on power conversion systems.
Ability to work from procedures, as built drawings & System Schematics.
High degree of EHS and quality awareness.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
High degree of flexibility, highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to prepare and follow Tests and documentation check lists, test plans.
PC knowledge of Microsoft applications.
