DSV are recruiting for an apprentice to work in the Freight Bookings team with a start date as soon as possible. Working week
Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00, with 30-minutes for lunch.
Total hours per week: 37.50
Weekly wage
£206.25 per week for the first 6 months, then increasing to £225 per week for the remainder of the apprenticeship

Vacancy description
As an apprentice you will be working within a small team, meeting customers’ requirements for the safe and efficient transport of their cargo, effectively and in accordance with the company’s operation procedures and statutory requirements.
Key tasks will include:
Create import and export freight bookings on various ferry services and Eurotunnel
Preparing jobs for invoicing
Liaise with Internal departments & External customers regarding queries in a polite & professional manner
Updating Records and general day to day administrative tasks to support the Team

Training to be provided
Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
End-Point Assessment (EPA)
Our chosen training provider will deliver this apprenticeship in the workplace. You will have a dedicated assessor who will provide guidance and monitor progress throughout. You will have access to an online portfolio to allow you to monitor your progress and log work completed
