Business Development Manager – Oil & Gas

The Client:

A UK manufacturing firm with a strong engineering pedigree built up over many years. They have invested heavily in recent years in infrastructure and R&D to ensure they have a platform for further growth. To facilitate this, they are now looking for a team of sector-specific BDM’s across the UK.

The Role:

It will be your role to generate and develop business with key OEMs and End Users within various vertical markets including Oil & Gas, General Industrial and Manufacturing. This role will take ownership for the Northern UK territory where you will play a key role in designing and implementing the sales strategy for the next five years. There is significant inhouse design and engineering capacity so you will have plenty of scope to go after a wide variety of business. Be successful, and you will be able to build a sales team around you.

The Person:

It’s likely that you are a senior sales person with significant Oil & Gas experience.

The Rewards:

A basic salary of £40 – 50,000 is on offer along with a bonus of £10,000, company car or allowance and various other ancillary benefits.
