My client operates in the heart of Manchester when it comes to Freight and Shipping, it is a rapidly expanding business dealing with fast paced air freight deliveries with many premium house-hold names consisting of a global customer market base. My Client has a total turnover of £154Million which had an increase from £101Million 4years ago. They are constantly looking for new talent to join the ever expanding market within Freight.

Description

The successful Air Freight Forwarder will report to the Operations Manager and will carry out tasks such as:

Carrying out and completing end to end forwarding activities.
Work with internal and external customers providing excellent communications and customer service
Monitoring air freight and setting/meeting customer expectations
Producing import and export solutions – data handling
Completing and producing relevant air freight paperwork – compliance management
Critical analysis to resolve customer queries and issues.
Providing quotes and price indications to both external and internal customers – Maintain and improving relationships.Profile

The ideal Air Freight Forwarder will have the following skills and attributes:

Previous experience in a logistics environment within freight
2 year experience within Air freight is preferred
Desirably educated to degree, or equivalent level
Experience in Import/Exports
Understanding of regulations and customs
Ability to commute to Manchester
Passionate, Positive, Proactive character
A drive and desire to deliver excellent customer service to succeedJob Offer
