The business has exploded in terms of growth pre covid – with an 82% profit increase and a turnover of £522million.

Description

The successful Air Freight Forwarder will report to the Air Freight Supervisor/Operations Manager and will carry out tasks such as:

Carrying out and completing end to end forwarding activities.
Work with internal and external customers providing excellent communications and customer service
Monitoring air freight and setting/meeting customer expectations
Producing import and export solutions – data handling
Completing and producing relevant air freight paperwork – compliance management
Critical analysis to resolve customer queries and issues.
Providing quotes and price indications to both external and internal customers – Maintain and improving relationships.Profile

The ideal Air Freight Forwarder will have the following skills and attributes:

Previous experience in a logistics environment within freight
1 year experience within Air freight
Desirably educated to degree, or equivalent level
Experience in Import/Export
Ability to commute to Manchester
Passionate, Positive, Proactive character
A drive and desire to deliver excellent customer service to succeedJob Offer
